Hindi counting 1 to 10 introduces both number words and written numerals. For LKG, also called Junior KG or JR KG, it helps to connect three things: the spoken name, the Devanagari symbol and a visible quantity. A child can hear पाँच, see ५ and count five flowers. Thinking questions stay within one to ten. Children complete short sequences, combine small pictured groups, notice one more or one fewer, and recognise that spreading objects apart does not change their number. An adult can demonstrate these ideas with real objects as well as read the online questions aloud.
